Narcos creator Chris Brancato is developing a Peaky Blinders-style series about Irish gangs in New York. Brancato has revealed the project in the past few minutes at Series Mania, and it is under working title The Westies. Deadline understands the project is in early development for MGM+. The showrunner, whose MGM+ show Hotel Cocaine is in competition in Lille, said he is working on the script and the series will be about “fearsome Irish gangs” with a starting point of the late 1970s.！
